Meet our Product & Email Marketing Manager, Jess Langenberg
Job Title: Product & Email Marketing Manager
How long have you worked at American Medical ID? 3+ years
Where are you from? Baxter, IA
What are your hobbies? Competing at American Saddlebred Saddleseat competitions
Do you have any children? Pets? Vera, my longhaired English cream dachshund. She’s a professional squirrel and lizard chaser. When she’s not on the hunt, she’s typically snuggled up in my bed pretending like she’s a person.
What cause are you most passionate about? Equine rescue and awareness
Favorite Holiday: Fourth of July on the beach!
Favorite Sports Team: Houston Astros
Fun Fact: I grew up in a town so small there was no stop light.
What is your favorite American Medical ID product? Rose Gold Sleek – I think it’s one of our most versatile IDs. The silicone bands are great for working out, while the rose gold coloring steps it up a notch, making it pretty enough to wear out with friends, etc.
What is your favorite thing about working at American Medical ID? My coworkers are more like family. They’re with me through my good days and bad days. We’re all in it together, which makes everything that much more fun!
Who would you like to exchange roles with at the company? Honestly, no one… I love my role. It plays to my strengths and every day is different!
What is your favorite American Medical ID Memory? Watching everyone compete in the egg toss the past few years. So many good laughs watching how carefully people throw and catch the egg, and to see their faces when it breaks is just priceless.
If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go? Anywhere with a beautiful beach and good margaritas.
What’s the greatest bit of advice a parent or mentor has given you? It’s more of a quote I read once, that I keep on my desk. It reads: “What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create.” I think it’s a good reminder to keep positive thoughts and feelings, and to never lose your imagination – it’s a very powerful tool.
If you could have a dinner with someone who is alive or dead, who would it be and why? Eesh.. that’s a tough one. I think it’s a tie between Princess Diana (my mom adored her so I would definitely invite her along) or Beyonce. Both are amazing in their own way!
