That’s why we offer a recycling program so you can safely and securely discard your old ID and even get a little something in return. By recycling metals within our production shop, we’re able to defer costs of buying new materials from suppliers. Recycling is good for you, good for us, and good for the environment!
Recycling Your Bracelet
We’ll offer you a gift card to use toward the purchase of a new ID when you recycle your old one with us. Depending on the material, you’ll receive an American Medical ID gift card between $5 and $75. You’ll usually receive the gift card in about 4-6 weeks.
Recycling your ID is simple and easy. Fill out and submit the recycling form. Print the confirmation page and mail it, along with your old ID to us at:

Remember, your medical ID is valuable because of the metals used to make it, so be sure to send it using registered mail or with shipping insurance!
